BEDUINS ROLLING UP THEIR BLACK TENTS AND CHANGING CAMP
EAST OF THE DEAD SEA
The tribe, having exhausted the pasturage for its sheep, is preparing to
move towards fresh grass. Two women are rolling up their husband's tent
of black camel hair, while the white-robed man stands ready to place
it on his camel. In the distance two other men are unroping a tent.
This is a recurrent crisis in Beduin life. The tribe may have to fight
another clan for fresh pasturage
