of the fittest, and it is not surprising that the powers of endurance of

AN ALLUREMENT WHICH FEW CELESTIALS CAN RESIST
When swords come into play in the hands of the Chinese juggler the
ring of spectators widens as if by magic. The professional "outfit"
is composed of simple, everyday objects which, however, at the juggler's
touch, become possessed of strange supernatural powers. The crowd has
thinned somewhat at the approach of the camera; it will melt away more
rapidly when the hat is sent round
