The hand of a lady is usually kissed on arrival and departure, and this custom is observed even among the children, just as in the matter of dress young and old wear similar fashions | There are still in Hungary some racial reminders of the days of Turkish invasion in the shape of a semi-Oriental strain which persists in this particular region.
