| This Warramunga is a member of a tribe whose kind have lived in Australia from very early times in so primitive a fashion that they have not even learned to till the ground or use more than a few simple stone and wooden implements. They are to-day only in a Stone Age state of civilization | Tahitian girls are strikingly picturesque, but farcical European attire has deprived them of much of their charm; nevertheless, the seductive Tahitian smile and the pretty custom of wearing floral wreaths have not been utterly abolished |
