Woodpecker Damage

Didn't take long for the woodpeckers to start in on the house. SIP panels sound hollow (they are hollow, just foam-filled), so the whole place sounds like one giant rotten tree-- infinite interesting spots for them to attack. They've already put two holes in it, and will not be discouraged. Haven't been able to hit the culprit yet with the neighbor's borrowed 410, so will be borrowing a different neighbor's 12 gauge (until I get my own). Woodpecker must die!

1st Hole 2nd Hole Test Damage
Went out one morning with the 12 gauge to check for fresh damage. Lo, there was a new pile of styrofoam on the ground outside the current (FOURTH!) hole. I stared in horror and anger, which turned to shock when a woodpecker poked its head OUT THE HOLE. It had moved into my wall! It saw me and took off, and I got it in the air with the second shot. Score is now 4-2, woodpeckers still ahead.
